|What is ePlan?|
Electronic Plan Review (ePlan) is a web-based solution that allows plans for Building Permits and Development Projects to be submitted electronically, replacing the traditional paper-based review method. ePlan will improve the plan review cycle, reduce costs associated with obtaining building permits and development approvals, as well as support green initiatives.
Three steps to application submittal:
Step 1: Submit your application documents
Submit your application document using one of the following methods:
Scan application documents to pdf format per User Guide instructions and email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Deliver application documents in hard copy* to the Seminole County Planning & Development office: http://seminolecounty.ocoa.com/departments-services/development-services/planning-development/
Pay: Normal application fees apply. Payment must be mailed or delivered to Seminole County Planning & Development.
* Electronic upload of plans by the ePlan Applicant is the most efficient method of submittal. However, plans may also be submitted in hard copy for a scanning fee of $5 per plan page uploaded by the County staff for submittal and review cyle. Please note, this may cause the intake process to take longer due to the additional staff time involved. Customers who choose this option should only submit one complete set of application documents, plan drawings and plan documents. The project will not be routed for review until all applcation fees are paid in full.
Step 2: Online application review
ePlan submittal staff will review your application. If your application is not accepted, you will be contacted by our intake staff to correct the information provided.
Step 3: ePlan invitation email
Upon acceptance of your application by staff, you will receive two email notices; an invitation notice and an "Applicant Task" notice that must be completed following the upload of your single page drawings and single or multi-page documents. Refer to the ePlan Applicant User Guide as needed.
