Paws & Claws Community Pet Event Saturday April 27 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Located on the beautiful grounds of the Criminal Justice Center 101 Eslinger Way and 17-92 in Sanford Come enjoy the day with your dog, on leash only please. (No flexi leashes) Dogs and cats available for adoption! There will be a Vaccine Clinic with *FREE Rabies Vaccines for Seminole County residents with purchase of their county pet license. $5 rabies vaccines for residents living outside of Seminole County. Microchips will be available for only $10 with free 1 year registration included.

The Dental Program will be closed effective Monday, April 8, 2019.

Our dental program will be closed effective April 8, 2019 due to its funding being exhausted. This information will be updated on our website and will be relayed during our regular in-house orientation sessions held on Mondays and Wednesdays. We are excited that ALL funds were expended this year and a needed service was provided to our Seminole County residents.

Notice of Funding Availability-Public Services (City of Sanford)

On October 1, 2019, the City of Sanford expects to receive funding from the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for activities that benefit low and moderate income families or persons. Proposals are now solicited for projects to help meet the needs identified in the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan.
