PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ADVISORY

"Seminole County Southeast Service Area-Southeast Regional Water Treatment Plant – PWS # 3590571" 

A System Wide precautionary boil water advisory was issued Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. due to a malfunction at the water treatment plant causing the pressure to drop below 20 psi. The power was restored and the distribution system was flushed, we have commenced taking bacteriological samples as a precautionary measure.

Reverse 911 calls with information of the event were sent. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used. This "Precautionary Boil Water Notice" will remain in effect until the bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
