Sanlando Park
Sanlando Loop Trail
The newly completed one-mile Sanlando Loop Trail takes walkers, joggers, and cyclists through the shaded areas between Sanlando Park and the Seminole County Softball Complex. Trail users can enjoy the scenic loop between the parks rather than the out-and-back option on the nearby Seminole Wekiva Trail.
The previous trail faced major erosion issues from stormwater runoff. The newly paved trail is ADA-accessible.
This project was funded by the One Cent Infrastructure Sales Tax, or Penny Sales Tax. The Penny Sales Tax is levied on the sale of consumer goods to visitors, residents, and businesses, helping to fund local projects like park enhancements, stormwater improvements, and new sidewalks and roadways.
