The Sunshine Tree Boulevard Sidewalk project is proposing new continuous sidewalk along the west side of Sunshine Tree Boulevard from Dixon Road to EE Williamson Road and connect to existing sidewalk on EE Williamson Road. The initial thoughts for sidewalk placement are to provide a 5-foot concrete sidewalk with a 4-foot utility strip, but will vary depending on site condition. Sunshine Tree Boulevard is a two-lane undivided local road with a posted speed limit of 25 MPH. The roadway section currently consists of two lanes — 12 feet wide with open drainage from the intersection of Sunshine Tree Boulevard and EE Williamson Road to approximately 1,200-feet north and then two lanes — 12 feet wide with closed drainage and Miami curb to Dixon Road. According to the Mandarin Subdivision, Section One, Plat (Plat Book 20, Page 42 and 43), the existing right-of-way is 80 feet wide. It is anticipated the new sidewalk will be constructed entirely within Seminole County’s Right-of-Way. Seminole County is soliciting public participation and input at this time.
