Harmony Homes Subdivision Sidewalks
CIP No. 02107062
Seminole County Public Works Engineering Division is currently designing and then constructing the Harmony Homes Subdivision Sidewalk Project. This project consists of 3,045 linear feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk on one side of the roads within the Harmony Homes Subdivision as follows:
- Magnolia Street - along the south side, for 325 linear feet from Sanford Avenue to Desoto Avenue.
- Plymouth Avenue - along the east side, for 850 linear feet from Mercury Street to Magnolia Street.
- Desoto Avenue - along the east side, for 850 linear feet from Mercury Street to Magnolia Street.
- Ford Avenue - along the west and south sides, for 500 linear feet from Mercury Street to Desoto Avenue.
- Mercury Street - along the north side, for 520 linear feet from Sanford Avenue to Ford Avenue.
There are minimal impacts to existing mailboxes, landscaping, driveways, drainage, and other existing features but, the project limits will stay within the existing right-of-way to the extent possible and seeks to minimize impacts to residences.
This project is funded by the 2014 Seminole County One Cent Infrastructure Sales Tax. The goal is to promote safety and enhance pedestrian continuity.
This public outreach effort is to provide an update on the project and allow residents and interested persons to learn more about the proposed project improvements, ask questions and provide comments. Design Plans were uploaded to this website and are located under Project Documents.
Covid-19 Notice: Due to the current Covid-19 related social distance measures, the project website has been prepared to allow increased online feedback from all residents.
