Carrigan Ave Sidewalk Project

Overview
Seminole County Public Works Engineering Division is currently designing and then constructing the Carrigan Ave Sidewalk Project. This is a proposed 5-foot-wide sidewalk located on the north and south sides of Carrigan Ave from Alafaya Trail to Division Street. There are minimal affects to existing drainage features, but the project limits will stay within the existing right-of-way to extent possible and seeks to minimize impacts to residences.
The goal of this 2014 One Cent Sales Tax Referendum project is to promote safety and enhance pedestrian continuity.
The public outreach effort is to provide an update on the project and allow residents and interested persons to learn more about the proposed project improvements, ask questions and provide comments.
Covid-19 Notice: Due to the current Covid-19 related social distance measures, the project website has been prepared to allow increased online feedback from all residents.
Virtual Public Meeting Process
The County will hold a virtual public meeting using the ZOOM platform on March 25, 2021 beginning at 6:00 PM. Persons interested in attending the virtual meeting can join online by visiting and registering at the project website.
Additionally, the virtual public meeting pre-recorded video presentation will be available online from March 15th to March 29th, 2021. Please provide your feedback via the Comment Form on the website or by e-mail at rplumlee@seminolecountyfl.gov on or before March 29, 2021. If no response is received for the resident, Seminole County will& count a non-response as support for the project.
