SEMINOLE COUNTY BURN BAN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. LEARN MORE.
Seminole County understands that developing a "Culture of Preparedness" is a partnership between professional emergency managers and business, faith-based, non-profit, neighborhood, and social / fraternal organizations. The Seminole County Office of Emergency Management offers a Speakers Bureau to any community event, meeting, or gathering where preparedness may be part of the message.
No place in the world is void of disaster. We have learned from history - when communities prepare in advance, they recover faster and get back to their normal way of life. Seminole County is one of the most beautiful communities in the State of Florida - as our motto "Florida's Natural Choice" states. Unfortunately, with that beauty comes some danger from emergencies and disaster.
If we develop a cohesive team to prepare for these events, the community will be strengthened. That is why Seminole County offers the speakers bureau and many opportunities for groups to prepare for disasters and get involved in emergency management.
See the Speaker's Bureau for more information.
