Who can use the Library by Mail Service and what materials will be mailed?
Library by Mail Service is available to anyone who lives in Seminole County and has completed a Library by Mail Service application. Cataloged print materials, DVDs, and audio books may be borrowed. The library reserves the right to determine if a book is ineligible for sending through the mail – e.g. coffee table books and reference books.
How can I request Library by Mail delivery to my home?
Call your local branch to request materials be mailed to your home.
How long may I keep materials mailed to my home?
Library by Mail Service materials are checked out for three weeks including processing and delivery time. High Demand Items are 14 day checkout. These may be renewed if there are no holds waiting.
How do I return Library by Mail Service materials?
The return of books and materials is the responsibility of the patron. Returned postage will be provided.
How can I have access to materials from my computer or electronic devise?
The library offers many online services to ebooks, audios, and videos. By accessing the Library’s Virtual Branch you can read, listen and view a multitude of digital media. All you need is your library card number.
