We love our volunteers! Volunteers create crafts for children's story times, sort and mend books, retrieve books to fulfill user holds, and so much more. Many special projects are completed with the help of our volunteers!
Become part of an essential team delivering library services to the Seminole County community, and have fun too! Contact your local branch to find out about volunteer opportunities.
HIGH SCHOOLERS, AGES 14 & UP: Please complete the Teen Volunteer Application. If you are under 18, have a parent/guardian complete the Youth Hold Harmless Form. If you are 18 or 19, complete the Adult Hold Harmless Form instead. Return these to your local branch and ask to speak with the Teen Volunteer Coordinator.
ADULTS, AGES 18 & UP (OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL): Please complete the Adult Volunteer Application and the Adult Hold Harmless Form Return these to your local branch and ask to speak with the Adult Volunteer Coordinator, who will also make arrangements for a background check to be run. All adults (out of high school) wishing to volunteer must give permission for Seminole County to run a background check.
