Florida 4-H Public Speaking Program

Parents and Youth

The Florida 4-H Public Speaking Program in Seminole County currently works with 6th grade Language Arts Teachers in Seminole County Middle Schools by providing curriculum focused on learning how to write and deliver a speech. Each school winner has the opportunity to participate in the County Wide contest. The Florida 4-H Public Speaking Program helps youth in building self-esteem and gaining vital communication skills.

Educators

As an educator, you know that many problems in our fast-paced society arise, not because we don’t know the answers, but because we cannot communicate effectively. The best time to teach people to talk and think on their feet is when they are young.
