The Seminole County Public Library is excited to offer our new Book Club in a Bag service 

Whether you have a long-standing book club or want to start a new one, the Book Club in a Bag service makes it easy.

What’s in each Book Club in a Bag?

Book Club in a Bag is a kit specifically designed for book discussion groups. Each kit includes 6-12 copies of the title, discussion questions, author information, and an inventory sheet, all packaged together into a sturdy canvas bag.

Who can check out a Book Club in a Bag?

Any patron with a library card in good standing can check out Book Club in a Bag kits.

How can I check out a Book Club in a Bag?

To check out a Book Club in a Bag kit browse our catalog list of Book Club in a Bag kits.  Place a hold on the Book Club Bag kit through the online catalog or by calling your library for assistance. You’ll be notified when your kit is ready for pickup. The person picking up the bag will check it out on their card and will be responsible for the bag and the included books.

How long can a Book Club in a Bag kit be borrowed?

Book Club in a Bag kits can be checked out for 6 weeks.

Am I able to renew a Book Club in a Bag kit?

No. The kits may not be renewed.

How do I return a Book Club in a Bag?

Please return Book Club in a Bag kits to the circulation desk at any Seminole County Library branch. They cannot be returned in the book drops. Before returning the kit please check to make sure all the books and included items are inside the canvas bag.

Will I be charged fines or late fees? What if I lose a book or canvas bag?

Book Club in a Bag kits will incur overdue fines. Additionally, any items that are lost or damaged will be charged a replacement cost and a processing fee.
