Cross Seminole Trail

alt text

The Cross Seminole Trail begins from the south at the intersection of Aloma and Howell Branch where it meets the Cady Way Trail in Winter Park and heads north for a 23 mile journey to meet the Seminole Wekiva Trail at the pedestrian bridge over I-4 in Lake Mary.

A portion of the trail is designated as the Florida National Scenic Trail. The Cross Seminole Trail, along with the Seminole Wekiva Trail, is also a part of the Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail, an ambitious effort currently in the works to create a continuous paved multi-use trail across the state of Florida from the Atlantic to the Gulf.

Enjoy park amenities along the way at Big Tree Park and Greenwood Lakes Park; or for an off-road wilderness experience, check out Spring Hammock Preserve and take a stroll through cypress forests on the boardwalk to Lake Jesup.

  • TRAIL CLOSURE: The section of the Cross Seminole Trail crossing over SR 434 in Winter Springs will be closed beginning Monday, April 28, 2025, for bridge rehabilitation. The closure is expected to last approximately 150 days. A pedestrian detour will be in place throughout the construction period. Please follow all posted signage for your safety.
