If you are a current Seminole County Approved Lender whose certificate is expiring, it will remain in effect until we begin our new process. Purchase Assistance is available for qualified very low, low and moderate first time homebuyers in need of down payment, gap-financing and closing cost assistance to purchase new or existing homes in Seminole County.

Seminole County received an allocation of funds from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) under the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program. SHIP Program funds can be used to construct, create, preserve, and otherwise provide affordable housing for very low, low, and moderate income households within Seminole County. The County’s Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) provides assistance to very low, low, and moderate income households. The County anticipates receiving approximately $1,934,069.00 in SHIP funds from the State this year (State Fiscal Year from 7/1/17 to 6/30/18).
The Community Services Department will be open to the public on Friday, December 15th, but will not be accepting any paperwork.
