Lender's Certificate Workshop - Canceled

We are currently updating and improving the Lenders' Certificate Workshops and will not have another class until after the first of the year. If you are a current Seminole County Approved Lender whose certificate is expiring, it will remain in effect until we begin our new process. If you are a lender that is not currently certified as a Seminole County Approved Lender and are ready to submit an application to us, please contact Cora Yon at 407-665-2357 for the process that will be in place during this transition. Note: you must be ready to submit an application for the down payment assistance. Thank you for your patience while we update and improve our Lenders' Certification Workshop process. Purchase Assistance is available for qualified very low, low and moderate first time homebuyers in need of down payment, gap-financing and closing cost assistance to purchase new or existing homes in Seminole County.

Public Notice: State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program Funding Notice

Seminole County received an allocation of funds from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) under the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program. SHIP Program funds can be used to construct, create, preserve, and otherwise provide affordable housing for very low, low, and moderate income households within Seminole County. The County’s Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) provides assistance to very low, low, and moderate income households. The County anticipates receiving approximately $1,934,069.00 in SHIP funds from the State this year (State Fiscal Year from 7/1/17 to 6/30/18).
