As an Assistant County Manager, Meloney coordinates and reviews the Board of County Commissioners meeting agenda, works with staff to coordinate public records requests and the Board of County Commissioners board and committee appointments. Meloney serves as the County constituent ombudsman and a liaison to the community and works on a variety of special projects.  
 
Meloney has more than 28 years of government experience.  She has worked for Seminole County since 1998 when she started her career as a contracts administrator in the Administrative Services Department.  She was promoted to the Support Services Division manager and was responsible for all county leases, land management, building facility services, risk management, and public records requests.  She was later promoted to the Director of Central Services which had Human Resources, Information Services, Support Services, Fleet, and Facilities under her purview.  In 2015, Meloney was promoted to Assistant County Manager.  A few of the special projects include the approval of the Urban Bear Management Ordinance and the 2021 Seminole County Redistricting process and approval.  She is currently assisting the 2023-2024 Charter Review Commission members.
 
Meloney earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida.
