Small Business Assistance

The Small Business Assistance Portal will close on Friday, August 5, at 5 p.m.

Passed by Congress in March 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) provides additional relief to address the continued impact of COVID-19 on the economy, public health, state and local governments, individuals, and businesses. Seminole County has requested Local Fiscal Recovery Funds through ARPA to provide a substantial infusion of resources to turn the tide on the pandemic, address its economic fallout, and lay the foundation for a solid and equitable recovery.

Seminole County anticipates receiving $91.6 million in Local Fiscal Recovery Funds from the US Treasury, 50% of which was disbursed in May 2021 and 50% of which will be received approximately one year later.
