Seminole County receives grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) under the following programs: the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program.
As such, HUD requires that a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), indicating how funds were spent, as well as identifying the households and income levels of those who benefited from the programs, be submitted to HUD on or before December 30, 2019.
A public hearing and public comment period will be held for the purpose of soliciting citizen input and comments concerning past activities and the performance of Seminole County in the delivery of these programs during the past Program Year. The public hearing will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the Seminole County Community Development Office, Large Conference Room, located at 534 W. Lake Mary Boulevard Sanford, FL 32773.
Public Comment: A draft CAPER and a CAPER Summary will be available for review at the Public Hearing, online at the website listed below, and at the location listed below from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from Wednesday , December 4, 2019 through Thursday, December 19, 2019. Digital copies of the draft CAPER can be mailed, emailed, or faxed upon request. A summary of all comments received will be made available after the closing of the Public Comment period, upon request.
