Program Reopening- Minor Home Repair Program

The County will be accepting pre-applications for the Minor Home Repair Program for residents of Seminole County beginning April 3, 2023. The Minor Home Repair Program is designed to provide funds in the form of a grant to qualified applicants (income eligibility is included) with necessary repairs and/or alterations to affect the immediate livability of the home. The five (5) trades in which assistance can be provided are roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (heating and cooling systems), and accessibility/barrier removal.


Pre-applications are available between the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Seminole County Community Development Office at 520 West Lake Mary Boulevard, Suite 100; Sanford, Florida 32773, and on the Seminole County webpage http://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/departments-services/community-services/. Original, completed pre-applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm at the Seminole County Community Services Office. Emailed, faxed and/or copies submitted will not be accepted. Only fifty (50) original and complete pre-applications will be accepted and placed on the waiting list based on time/date stamp from housing office. The pre-applications will be used to establish a waiting list for the Minor Home Repair Program based on first come, first accepted basis. For questions please contact us at (407) 665-2300.
