Reverse 911 system was utilized. Department of Health "DOH Precautionary Boil Water Advisory" instructions were given to the businesses to inform the customers of this situation and to provide contact information. Large street signs were placed at street intersections to notify residents. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used. This "Precautionary Boil Water Notice" will remain in effect until the bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
If you have any questions, you may contact the Seminole County Utilities Department at 407-665-2110 between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
