On October 1, 2024, Seminole County anticipates receiving its annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for activities primarily benefitting low- and moderate-income families or persons. Beginning Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Seminole County Community Services Department will open its application process, soliciting applications from qualified applicants to fund projects that will assist the County with meeting the priority needs identified in the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan.
Nonprofit Organizations interested in applying for CDBG, HOME, and ESG funding must complete their applications electronically via the Neighborly software (see link below). All applications are due to Seminole County Community Services Department no later than Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. Late application will not be scored.
Two technical assistance workshops have been scheduled to allow interested nonprofits/applicants to ask questions regarding this funding notice. The in-person workshop is scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 9 a.m. in the 3rd Floor Conference Room of the Seminole County Community Services Department. The virtual meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 2 p.m. Meeting login instructions will be available at the bottom of this page. To be considered for the 2024-2025 funding, all interested applicants must have a representative present for at least one of the workshops.
