These projects were funded by the One Cent Infrastructure Sales Tax, or Penny Sales Tax, and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The Penny Sales Tax is levied on the sale of consumer goods to visitors, residents, and businesses, ensuring the cost to construct and maintain public infrastructure is shared. Learn more at seminolecountyfl.gov/penny. ARPA is a $1.9 trillion federal stimulus bill to aid in public health and economic recovery from the pandemic.
