Your library card number is on the back of your card and your PIN number is usually the last four digits of your phone number.

Get a Library Card

In-Person

Library cards can be obtained in person at any of the five branches. Photo ID must be presented at time of application. If you have registered and received a library card in person, please DO NOT register online.

Online

Adults 18 and older may register online. Adults registering online will receive their card in the mail. Cards must be validated in person within 30 days of issue for permanent use. Photo ID must be presented at time of application.

Eligibility:

  • Any person residing permanently or owning property in Seminole County OR
  • Any person enrolled in a Seminole County Public School OR
  • Any person employed by Seminole County Government OR
  • Any person employed by Seminole County Public Schools

Library cards must be renewed every 3 years. There is a $2.00 replacement fee for lost cards. Please notify us immediately if your card is lost or stolen.



Non-Resident Fee Cards: $50 per family, per year.

Reciprocal Borrowing: Lake County residents, with a valid Lake County library card, can apply for a free reciprocal borrowing card with Seminole County.
