The mission of the Office of Strategic Initiatives is to pursue diverse funding and innovative resources to enable Seminole County’s future-ready effort, particularly in sustainability, adaptability, economic well-being, and digital equity.
The Office oversees various County functions, including Strategic Initiatives, Economic Development, Tourism, Cultural Affairs, Information Technology, and Resource Management, encompassing Financial Management, Grants, Purchasing, and Contracts. It also manages large-scale, special community projects which involve multi-partner coordination across programming, service, infrastructure, and other resources.
