pre construction meeting

Prior to scheduling the Pre-construction meeting, the following information must be filled in on the form below and submitted to the Development Inspection Team. Once the permit has been prepared by the Development Inspector, you will be contacted to schedule the meeting. This process usually takes about one week from the time all documents have been received. This meeting must be attended by the owner (or authorized agent), engineer of record, and the site contractor.

1. One copy certified engineer's estimate that is signed and sealed by a licensed Florida P.E. or one copy of an executed contract that is signed by both the owner and contractor will be needed to calculate permit fees. Please itemize construction costs. Public Right-of-Way/Easements must be separated from on-site costs.

SITE WORK INCLUDES:

Clearing and grubbing, erosion control, earthwork, storm drainage, paving, (stabilized subgrade, base, curb, asphalt, and/or concrete) landscaping and irrigation, fences, signs and striping, mobilization, survey, etc.

2. A copy of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Notice of Intent (NOI) must be submitted for projects greater than one acre or part of a larger Master Design Plan

4. If the owner does not attend the pre-construction meeting a Letter of authorization as Owner's agent is required to obtain a Seminole County Government site permit.

5. Construction projects requiring more than 10,000 cubic yards of cut/fill will require a Hauling Route permit for the material.

At the meeting you will be required to pay permit fees established by Seminole County. Company or personal checks are to be made payable to Seminole County BCC.
