Seminole County is the recipient of federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These grant funds include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program which fund housing and community development activities for the benefit of low-moderate income persons throughout Seminole County. An action plan for the use of these funds is required to be submitted to HUD on or before August 15, 2018.
There will be a 30-day public comment period for this One-Year Action Plan. Comments will be received at the Seminole County Community Development Division until 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018. During this period, the Action Plan will be in draft form and is available for public review at the link below and in the Community Development office located in the Reflections Plaza at 534 W. Lake Mary Boulevard, Sanford, FL 32773. Public comments will be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners prior to their July 24, 2018 meeting for final approval of the 2018-2019 One-Year Action Plan.
