Administration Resource Management

Resource Management oversees all department functions which include Budget, Purchasing, Risk Management, Grants Administration, Municipal Services Benefit Unit, and Print & Mail Services. Resource Management serves as the liaison for County Departments, elected officials, other government entities and citizens in carrying out approved budget programs authorized by the Board of County Commissioners.

It is the responsibility of Resource Management to recommend financing plans for Board programs based on ongoing monitoring of the economy, the County’s financial condition, and general Countywide service needs. Resource Management coordinates all debt financing activities such as the issuance of tax-exempt debt, refinancing debt, and short term debt. We also undertake all financial analysis of special projects which impact the County’s financial condition or obligations.

We are committed to helping citizens better understand the County’s fiscal issues and how they are incorporated into the budget process, purchasing process, and citizens’ special districts.
