ANIMAL SERVICES

Animal Services

We are a caring and qualified team of staff and volunteers, committed to providing responsible, reliable and efficient services. We strive to enrich, preserve and respect the lives of all animals.

Seminole County Animal Services was established in the early 1970’s to have local ordinances to prevent domestic animal nuisances and to have a safe place to take stray and homeless pets. Today not only do we enforce ordinances, we provide such services as rabies vaccinations and microchipping as well. We ask that you “Adopt- Don’t Shop” and come to the shelter and adopt your next family pet. We also have plenty of volunteer and foster home opportunities if you would like to help the homeless pets in our community. As our mission statement says “We strive to preserve the lives of all animals”.

If you have lost a pet or are looking to adopt, check out all the animals in the shelter at www.24petconnect.com. If you recognize a lost pet you will need to come down to the shelter to positively identify the animal.

If you have any questions or concerns about an animal located at the shelter, please call 407-665-5201.

If you have recently adopted a puppy or kitten from Seminole County Animal Services, and it now requires a Rabies vaccine, please call at 407-665-5201.

If you need to surrender your pet to the shelter, please contact our front desk staff at 407-665-5201 to make arrangements.
