Attention: New State Statutes raised the limits for a Notice of Commencement on a mechanical change out from $7,500 to less than $15,000. The updated requirement for the Notice of Commencement is effective July 1, 2022 and applies only to the valuation of work that is $15,000 or greater for the change-out of existing mechanical equipment.
