The Seminole County Planning & Development Division held a Community Meeting on 10/19/2021 seeking your input on potential revisions to the Land Development Code. This ongoing effort is directed at clarifying and modernizing the Code, bringing it more in line with the future needs of Seminole County.
On August 5, 2021 Seminole County in collaboration with Renaissance Planning and the City of Sanford held the last of three community workshops, where the public had an opportunity to comment on the draft recommendations for the study.
New Mobility, Fire & Rescue, and Library impact fees took effect on June 29, 2021. Under certain circumstances, a property owner may with approval enter into a written vested rights agreement with the County by submitting an application package along with the application fee of $500 to the Planning & Development division no later than September 13, 2021.
