G-272 Warning Coordination Course

The course is primarily designed for local and state government emergency program managers or officials responsible for coordination and communication. The secondary audience includes federal emergency management personnel and employees of local, state, and federal governments who work in the emergency management field. Among the topics presented are: the social dimensions of warning response, developing effective warning messages, developing an effective community warning process and working with the news media to create a weather warning partnership.
