If your scheduled garbage, yard waste or recycling collection day falls on a holiday listed below, your collection will be on the next scheduled collection day.
Real Christmas trees will be collected each Wednesday after the holiday through the end of January. Trees taller than 8 feet must be cut in half.

Free Waste Tire Collection Events are held at the Central Transfer Station and Seminole County Landfill. These events offer residential households FREE disposal of up to five (5) tires. Only two (2) customers from different households per vehicle for a maximum of ten (10) tires per vehicle.
Up to four (4) tires can be disposed during normal operating hours at the Central Transfer Station at $1.00 per tire. Up to ten (10) tires can be disposed of at the Landfill for $1.00 per tire. A load containing more than 10 (ten) tires or an unlimited number can be disposed of at the Landfill at $100.00 per ton. Seminole County Business Collection Events for Hazardous Waste & E-scrap
Small businesses* can dispose of hazardous waste by working directly with Perma-Fix (a permitted hazardous waste disposal company under contract to Seminole County). Call Perma-Fix at 1-813-368-2817 regarding pricing, method of payment and to schedule an appointment. Inform her that you are interested in participating in the Seminole County Small Business Collection event. You will be asked to provide a thorough inventory of your hazardous waste and the size of the containers used for storage. Payment for disposal is made directly to Perma-Fix. Seminole County is not responsible for disposal costs. The following dates are for hazardous waste disposal:

Businesses can recycle E-scrap by working directly with A-1 Assets. Call 407-339-7030 regarding pricing, method of payment and to schedule an appointment. Inform them that you are interested in participating in Seminole County’s E-scrap Collection event. You will be asked to provide a thorough inventory of your E-scrap. Payment for recycling is made directly to A-1 Assets. Seminole County is not responsible for recycling costs. The following dates are for E-scrap recycling:
