Wirz Park Trail

LOCATION: The preliminary alignment for this trail follows a power easement from State Road 436 to Wirz Park in Casselberry and will then meander through undeveloped areas and along an existing sidewalk corridor between neighborhoods connecting to local schools and parks.

LENGTH: Upon completion, this trail will be 2.5 miles long.

STATUS: County staff is working with the City of Casselberry on a plan to develop this trail.

CHARACTER: The Wirz Park Trail will be a paved trail in both urban and residential areas.

FUTURE: The Wirz Park Trail may connect to the Kewannee Trail, and the Citrus Trail in the future.

CONNECTIONS & DESTINATIONS: The Wirz Park Trail may connect to South
Seminole Middle School, Casselberry Elementary, Wirz Park, Crystal Bowl Park, and Dew Drop Park.
