Countywide Operations - Mowing
 | Stormwater is responsible for mowing approximately 130 retention ponds in the County. In addition to the ponds, most of the easement (slopes and flat ground) areas along the canals are mowed. Virtually all the pond and easement mowing is now outsourced. | | Contractors mow these areas once a month on average. The mowing crew still does some slope mowing and other areas not covered in the current contracts. Our goal is to outsource all mowing work while retaining a limited in-house capability during the transition. |  | |
