Plat Books

A complete set of reference plats going back to 1903 are available for review at the Engineering Division at 520 W Lake Mary Blvd in Sanford.  These plats depict the arrangement of subdivisions as well as any easements and rights-of-way dedicated with the plats acceptance. 

Plats are also available for viewing online and for download from the Property Appraiser's web site or the Seminole County Clerk of Courts web site.

Copies of plat maps may be purchased from Central Intake of the Planning and Development Department on the second floor of the County Services Building, 1101 E 1st St in Sanford. Call (407) 665-7432 for purchase information.

Utility/Miscellaneous Permits

Construction and maintenance of utility and other miscellaneous improvements within the unincorporated County road right-of-way, land, easements and for County right-of-way within unincorporated areas must be authorized by a Seminole County Public Works Engineering Division Construction Permit. This Construction Permit is for various types of public or private utilities or facilities, construction activity, maintenance of traffic (MOT), excavation, restoration, horizontal boring, open cuts of County roads, landscaping and irrigation.
