Lane Closures:
Red Bug Lake Road - Intermittened lane closures just east of Eagle Cir for 1 month. They will be closing the outside eastbound lane from 8:30 pm to 6:00am.

Middleton Oaks Subdivision (Dist-2) All streets in the Middleton Oaks Subdivision will be resurfaced and restriped.
Sunland Estates (Dist-2) Sunland Dr, Wynn Dr, Baywood Dr, Tucker Dr, Cherokee Cir, Baywood Cir, Brown Dr, Camellia Ct, Cherokee Ln, and Waits Dr will be resurfaced and restriped.
Florida Ave (Dist-2) The dirt road portion of Florida Ave between Van Arsdale St and Walsh Street will be constructed and paved.
Longwood, FL - SR 434 Six Laning - I-4 to Rangeline Rd. This project will widen urban roadway section from 4 to 6 lanes. This project will also include reconstruction of sidewalks and new bike lanes. The project length is approximately 1.7 miles. Florida Department of Transportation led project. Anticipated start date August 2012 and anticipated completion date April 2014.
Casselberry, FL – SR 436 at Red Bug Lake Rd Overpass – Construction on-going. For more information, please visit:

Sanford, FL Lincoln Heights Drainage Improvements – Flood hazard attenuation project addressing flooding in Lincoln Heights & Revenna Park subdivisions. Construction of 2 ponds and 2 pump stations. Anticipated start date 1/30/2013. Anticipated completion date 11/1/2013.
Winter Springs, FL New Gee Creek Bridge Rehabilitation - Rehabilitation of bridge. Start date: 3/20/2013. Anticipate construction to be complete 6/20/2013. Bridge will be closed during construction.
Environmental Services Construction Projects:
Woodcrest 5 Pump Station Improvements - Construction of a new duplex pump station near the intersection of Fox Knoll Place and Howell Branch Road. A new turning lane on Howell Branch Road is also included. Anticipated start date is October 2012 and anticipated completion date August 2013.

West Town Parkway Extension - new road construction from Laurel Ave to Orange Ave. Construction began February 2012. Anticipate construction to be complete September 2012.
City of Casselberry:
Winter Park Drive - reconstruction of Winter Park Dr from Seminola Blvd north. Anticipated to be complete August 2012. Resurfacing of Winter Park Dr from SR 436 to Seminole Blvd complete pending final striping.
17-92 Streetscape Project - from SR 436 to Seminola Blvd anticipated to be complete May 2012.
City of Lake Mary:
Skyline Drive and Sand Pond Road Roadway Construction
This 1.25 mile project consists of minor widening, turn lane improvements, horizontal and vertical curve reconstruction and converting the existing 2-lane rural roadway to a 2-lane urban roadway with a closed drainage system, ponds, and sidewalks. The project also includes extending Skyline Drive from its current terminus approximately 1,100-feet to Emma Oaks Trail. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of July, 2012. Fairy Lake Outfall Replacement – project currently in design. Anticipate construction to begin fall 2012.
Well 5 Replacement–located at Church and Rangeline Rd is under construction until 6/30/2012.
Island Lake North Outfall Replacement – construction anticipated to start in the fall 2012.
City of Oviedo:
Evans Street Road Improvement Project - This project consists of construction of a 2 lane road in the existing right-of-way on Evans Street just past the Public Works Administration Building east to North Lockwood Boulevard. Currently, that portion of Evans Street is a dirt road. The other portion of the road is paved and will be resurfaced as part of the project. Improvement to this road will provide connectivity and improve capacity. Surveying and engineering plans will be part of this project and construction is budgeted for Fiscal Year 2011-2012. The Jackson Heights Middle School "Safe Routes to School" Sidewalk Improvement Project involves sidewalk improvements along several roadways in the Washington Heights and Johnson Hill area within the vicinity of Jackson Heights Middle School. The project involves installation of approximately 11,940 feet of 5-foot sidewalks. The improvements are targeted to improve walking conditions for students attending school as well as pedestrians that walk to bus stops located along Reed Avenue, Wilson and Harrison Streets and along CR419. All proposed improvements are within a two mile radius of the school. Construction is anticipated to begin in December of 2011.
Downtown Lift Station Force Main Improvement Project - The City recently hired Blue Ox Enterprises to construct the downtown lift station re-route project. The project began in November, 2011 and will be completed by the end of 2011. The re-route was necessary to eliminate manifolding with other lift stations. Prior to the re-route, the force main ran east from the intersection of Oviedo Blvd. and Broadway Street to Academy Avenue, south around Jackson Heights Middle School and then west back to Oviedo Blvd. The new 8-inch force main reduces the route by approximately 19,000 feet.
The SR 434/Central Avenue Streetscape/Sidewalk project includes various improvements to the Mitchell Hammock Road/SR434 intersection and installs sidewalks along the east side of SR434 from Mitchell Hammock Road to Clonts Avenue. Design was completed by Vanasse Hangen Brustline, Inc. (VHB). The project includes approximately 550 linear feet of 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk along the existing right-of-way on the east side of SR 434 (Central Avenue) from Clonts Avenue to Mitchell Hammock Road. Associated improvements include grading, driveway removal and replacement and sodding. In addition to sidewalks for pedestrian connectivity, the design will include hardscape improvements such as stamped asphalt pavement for pedestrian cross walks and hardscape amenities such as directional signs, benches, recycling /trash receptacles, bicycle racks and two Lynx bus shelters. Associated improvements include asphalt milling, signage, striping, and median landscaping. A construction contract was awarded to Central Florida Environmental on November 7, 2011 and the work is scheduled to begin on or before January 9, 2012.
