5. When can my child face forward?

The Answer:

Infants must ride rear-facing until they are at least one year of age and at a minimum 20 pounds. Many infant rear facing seats are only rated for children up to 20 pounds. Check the manufacturer weight limit on your Child's Safety Seat for proper use.
