Areas of Responsibility:

 
  • Enters and maintains procurement information in J.D.Edwards and Vendorlink software.
  • Renews agreements, negotiates escalation as a result of these renewals and executes the associated amendments to agreements.
  • Contract administration functions include contractor’s performance issues, price escalation, vendor delivery issues and assignments.
  • Reviews Department changes in scope for existing agreements and makes the appropriate amendment to agreements if needed.
  • Responds to inquiries for technical and administrative information concerning procurement information. 
  • Performs research as related to market survey and Consumer Price Indexes to validate contractor’s price increase requests that may result in contract administration tasks. 
  • Responds to Public records requests. Performs administrative amendments to Agreements/Contracts. 
  • Assists in posting solicitation packages on the Purchasing and Contracts website and broadcasting solicitations via the Vendorlink system. 
  • Coordinates the procurement agenda and backup information and Agreement/Contracts formulation information with the County Attorney’s office. 
  • Maintains the divisional Share Point Internet/Intranet database and keeps the data up-to-date, reflective of current day’s activities.
  • Manages, researches, and provides information to vendors concerning Legistar (BCC Agenda) items and coordinates information requests with staff members.
