TREE LIMBS: The Seminole County Solid Waste Management Division encourages customers to NOT trim trees or hire anyone to trim trees in preparation of Hurricane Irma UNLESS the customer or the customer’s contractor is able to take the debris to our facilities.
For unincorporated Seminole County residents that subscribe to residential curbside yard waste collection, today’s regularly scheduled collection will occur, normal regulations apply (http://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/…/cu...rbside-collection-servi…).
Garbage and recycling collection will be collected as normally scheduled for Thursday, 09/07/17 and Friday, 09/08/17, normal regulations apply (http://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/…/curbside-collection-servi…).
The Central Transfer Station in Longwood and the Landfill in Geneva are currently open normal business hours. Our facilities accept cash or check with a driver’s license only and have a pro-rated charge of $33.17 per ton.
Please keep in mind that the Seminole County Landfill and Central Transfer Station will be experiencing a higher than normal volume of customers.
