SEMINOLE COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION MINOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM

The County is accepting pre-applications for the Minor Home Repair Program for residents of Seminole County. This program is funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Properties within the City of Sanford are not eligible for CDBG funding but are eligible for CARES CRF. Minor Home Repair Program is designed to provide funds in the form of a grant to qualified applicants (income eligibility is included) with necessary repairs and/or alterations to affect the immediate livability of the home. The five (5) trades in which assistance can be provided are roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (heating and cooling systems), and accessibility/barrier removal.

 

Pre-applications are available between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Seminole County Community Development Office at 534 West Lake Mary Boulevard; Sanford, Florida 32773, and on the Seminole County webpage http://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/departments-services/community-services/. Completed pre-applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm at the Seminole County Community Services Office. For questions please contact us at (407) 665-2300. Only fifty (50) pre-applications will be accepted on a first-come, first accepted basis and on funding availability. The pre-applications will be used to establish a waiting list for the Minor Home Repair Program.
