Seminole County administers the Community Service Block Grant Program funds from the Department of Health and Human Services under 42 USC 9901-9921 and Florida Administrative Code Chapter 9B-22 through the CSBG Advisory Board. The Purpose of the Program is to provide assistance for the reduction of poverty, the revitalization of low-income communities, and the empowerment of low-income families and individuals in rural and urban areas to become self-sufficient.
Regularly, the Seminole County CSBG Advisory Board meets the third Thursday of every other month at 6:15pm, and are open to the public.

PERSONS ARE ADVISED THAT, IF THEY DECIDE TO APPEAL DECISIONS MADE AT THESE MEETINGS / HEARINGS, THEY WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE, THEY MAY NEED TO INSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED, PER SECTION 286.0105, FLORIDA STATUTES.
