Notice of Funding Availability Public Services (City of Sanford)

In order to address these needs, federal funding in the amount of $448,253 is anticipated for the 2019-2020 Program Year. Through an Interlocal agreement between the City of Sanford and Seminole County, projects will be administered by Seminole County. At this time, Seminole County is accepting applications on behalf of the City of Sanford for the following activity:

*Estimated funds are based on FY 2018-2019 funding allocations.  FY 2019-2020 figures have not yet been released from HUD.

 Additional funding may be available for other activities, depending upon availability.  All proposals are due to the Seminole County Community Development Division no later than Friday, May 3,   2019 at 4:00 p.m. Faxed and e-mailed proposals will not be accepted. Each proposal must be submitted as one (1) original paper document, six (6) duplicated paper documents, and must be accompanied by a single digital copy (one .pdf file) on one (1) compact disk or USB.

Funding applications will be available from the City of Sanford, City Manager's Office and the City of Sanford webpage at www.sanfordfl.gov and below this Notice beginning April 3, 2019. They may also be obtained from the Seminole County Community Services Department (see address below).

Applicants must attend a mandatory technical assistance workshop.  The City will offer two workshop options on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM and again at 6:00 PM. This workshop will be held to provide technical assistance and to answer questions for all interested applicants. These workshops will be held at the Sanford Public Safety Complex, Community Meeting Room located at 815 Historic Goldsboro Blvd., Sanford.   All interested applicants must have a representative present at one of the two workshops in order to apply for 2019-2020 funding.
