City of Sanford Notice of Funding Availability and Solicitation of Public Services Proposals

In order to address these needs, federal funding in the amount of $401,643 is anticipated for the 2018-2019 Program Year. Through an Interlocal agreement between the City of Sanford and Seminole County, projects will be administered by Seminole County. At this time, Seminole County is accepting applications on behalf of the City of Sanford for the following activity:

*Estimated funding are based on FY 2017-2018 funding allocations.  FY 2018-2019 figures have not yet been released from HUD.  

Additional funding may be available for other activities, depending upon availability.  All proposals are due to the Seminole County Community Development Division no later than Friday, April 20, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Faxed proposals and e-mailed proposals will not be accepted. Each proposal must be submitted as one (1) original paper document, six (6) duplicated paper documents, and must be accompanied by a single digital copy (one .pdf file) on one (1) compact disk or USB.

Applicants must attend a mandatory technical assistance workshop.  The City will offer two workshop options. The first will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. This workshop will be held to provide technical assistance and to answer questions for all interested applicants. The workshop will be held at the Sanford City Hall 300 N. Park Ave. Sanford, FL 32771 first floor Utility Training Room.  A second mandatory technical assistance workshop will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sanford Public Safety Complex, Community Meeting Room located at 815 Historic Goldsboro Blvd. Sanford.   All interested applicants must have a representative present at one of the two workshop in order to apply for 2018-2019 funding.  The Seminole County Community Services Department Address:
