The County is accepting applications for the Immediate Needs Program for residents of the City of Sanford. This program is funded with City of Sanford Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. It is designed to provide funding in the form of a grant to qualified applicants (income eligibility is required) with necessary immediate repairs and/or alterations to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the household or affect the immediate livability of the home. The five (5) trades in which assistance can be provided are roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (heating and cooling systems), and accessibility (accommodations for those with disabilities).
Applications are available between the hours of 8am to 4pm in the Community Services office located at 534 W. Lake Mary Boulevard, Sanford, FL 32773 or you can download the application by clicking here. For questions please contact us at (407) 665-2300.
