I thought it was a really good book because I love ghost stories. Amy is
mad at her Mom & runs away to her aunt who lives really far away. Her aunt
is up cleaning the attic & she gets really scared when she hears someone
in the house. When Amy goes up to the attic, she sees a big object
covered with sheets. She pulls off the sheet & sees the most beautiful
thing she has ever seen. It's a dollhouse of the house she is in. She
loves miniatures & wishes she could have it. One night she goes up to
close up the dollhouse & one of the dolls has moved! What is the dollhouse
trying to tell her? Read & find out what the message was. I really like
the author of this book. I have read many of her other books.

I loved this book so much. It is about a girl named Darcey who has to
babysit three bratty children. She heard a knock on the door and it was a
man saying they had to take them for an emergency. She asked for their ID
but he just shoved her adn the kids in the car. Very amazing!!!
Tasneem, Calgary Islamic School (Canada) Grade 5
I love this book because it is first of all a boxcar children
mystery and I like all the characters. It's about a pizza place almost
going out of business by the factory next door. But the Alden kids and
Laurie Baker help it stay in business.
I liked this book because it's very exciting. I mean, how would you feel
if you got letters in the mail from dead people? I suggest you read this
book to let your imagination flow!
I think the Three Investigator series is very good. It shows classic
detective work with 3 kid detectives.
Nancy Drew, the great detective, just got a puppy, a chocolate lab.
Hannah, Nancy's Mom, baked some chocolate muffins. Then 3 of them
disappear. Hannah thinks that Nancy & her friends, Bess & George, took
them. Nancy says no & that the only ones who could have done it were a
neighbor who came to see the puppy or the puppy. Then some other food is
stolen. Who's really doing it?
I enjoyed Cry Wolf because it was suspenseful and scary. The main
character was Laurel Chandler who is being stalked. She didn't know that
the killer would change her life. Will she be lucky or unlucky in her
fight for survival?
I found the book thrilling & suspenseful. I will be sure to read it
again!!!!!

This book had many clues and a twist that I always enjoy in a book. A
millionaire dies & leaves clues to give money from his will. Turtle thinks
that she knows the answer, but is she afraid to pursue it?
This is absolutely the best book I have ever read. Not only is there a
mystery, the intricate twists in the plot are wonderful. Every time I read
it, I discover something new. The subtle clues are great! I would
recommend this book to anyone looking for an awesome book!
I loved reading this book which is like a mystery. Gwen is the main
character. Dena, who is her foster mother, has a friend who was killed by
Dena's uncle. But why??
Gwen is determined to find out what happened to Rose the summer of her
death.
I loved reading this book because it was very exciting. The main
character, Encyclopedia Brown, solves cases about a lot of things, like,
"Why are birds building nests with twenty dollar bills?" or "Is someone
trying to kill Red Puffinger?".
I enjoyed reading this book because it was an adventurous & mysterious
book. The main characters are Nancy Drew, a young detective, & Helen
Corning, a friend of Nancy's. They are up to a mystery that will be
remembered by them both. How could they have guessed that Twin Elms was
haunted by a thief? Read this book & find out how this exciting story
ends up.
I enjoyed this book. The 2 main characters are Mary-Kate & Ashley. They
wanted to figure out if someone was killed & who did it. Did someone
really die or is this just a trick?
I had fun reading Sammy Keyes. It was an exciting book & the author keeps
you on the edge of your seat. Sammy will not go trick-or-treating ever
again.
The book "Wanted" was a great story by Caroline Cooney. The main character
was Janey. The police thought Janey killed her dad. The police didn't know
one thing - that she got a phone call saying she was next.

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
This book vividly describes a murder plot. I liked the book very much
because of the amount of suspense in it. Agatha Christie writes the novel
as a 3rd person omniscient. The views of all the characters are expressed
by her & all their thoughts. It is about 10 people who are mysteriously
called to an island which was bought by a millionaire. There they are
indicted of past murders. One of them chokes to death according to a
nursery rhyme poem called Ten Little Indians. The murderer used the poem
to go according to his/her murders! Agatha Christie vividly describes
this realistic & suspenseful story & I would highly recommend this book to
anyone who is interested in this type of story.

The Ghost in Room 11 by Betty Ren Wright

trying to fit in to his class with the rest of the crowd & ends up lying
about his parents. He is a very poor speller but that doesn't keep on for
long. The boy sees a ghost that really scares his pants off!!!!! He's so
scared he keeps on practicing & practicing until he gets it right. Boy did
he ace that spelling test the next morning. At the end of this book there
is a shocking surprise. Well, this is a great book & it is very scary. I
would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries or scary

problems. He has a sister who is very annoying. He moves to a place in
Maine & discovers a ghost who needs his help. He helps the ghost by
finding out if the father of the ghost really did save him. Well, you
might think this book is not interesting because of what I'm saying but
it's a great book.
My review for "Wrapped in a Riddle" is that if you like mysteries and you
like riddles you will definitely love this book. What it is about is a
girl who lives with her grandmother. Her grandmother loves books by Mark
Twain & the rooms are named after different authors. Her grandmother has
some letters from someone and then some strange things happen at the
house. Then before you know it the letters get stolen. Want to find out
who the letters are from? Was it someone who works at the house that took
the letters? Find out when you read the book.

This book is about a girl named April who moves into a hotel pretty much in the
middle of nowhere. She meets a girl named Melanie and they are both crazy
about Egypt! In the middle of a strange old man's backyard of his old,
strange, store, they start a game all about Egypt--with fake Egyptian Gods and
secret lettering. This book is fantastic and full of mystery and lots of
cool moments.
Tarot Says Beware is a great book to read and if you get into the middle and
the end, you can definitely find a red-herring. (a false clue) If you're
looking for something to read you should read this book because it's exciting,
mysterious, and a fast read if you need a good, kinda-short, mystery to read.
It won't take you long!
This is a very extravagant book with vivid details. The book is describing
a sort of mystery/comedy where a rich casino boat owner is polluting the ocean
and Thunder Beach. At times you are worried, scared, and in suspense.
This book makes you want to keep reading.
The main idea of this book is about a hero named Nolan and he finds out who
sprayed graffiti. I like this book because it is a mystery.

This book is about a boy who tries to prove that a bully really does do bad
things and the boy disguised himself as Shredderman, a superhero, and made a
website so people believe him about the bully. I like this book.
I liked this because there were so many mysteries in one huge mystery book.
There were about 5 different mysteries and you are trying to figure out one
mystery when all of a sudden another mystery pops up. All of the wonderful
scary mysteries come together in the end to help figure out the biggest mystery.

The Dead Man in Indian Creek
by Mary Downing Hahn
Matthew, Parker, and Parker's German Shepherd dog, Otis, go on a camping trip to
their local woods. Matthew and Parker find Evans, Parker's mom's
boyfriend, on a bridge near Indian Creek. When Matthew and Parker go to
investigate why Evans was at the creek so early in the morning, they find a dead
man in the creek. They rush to the police station and tell them what they
saw. Because Parker hates Evans, he thinks that he murdered the man and
when the police think that Evans had nothing to do with it, Parker gets
determined to prove them wrong.
Parker and Matthew spy on Evans while he works in this shop. They find
nothing suspicious until they break in one night and discover dolls that contain
cocaine. They listen in on the conversation between Evans, Parker's mom,
and Flynn, Evan's boss. This is a fun-filled mystery book that I think
