Mummies in the Morning
by Mary Pope Osborne
This book is about Jack and Annie finding mummies. When Jack dropped the
Egypt book it helped them find mummies. I like this book because it is an
adventure.
Sakun, Woodlands Elementary (Florida) Grade 1
One day in Frog Creek, Pennsylvania a boy named Jack and his 7 year old
sister Annie were sleeping. It was a cold Sunday morning when they were
awakened by a CRASH!!!! Annie woke up and started running outside.
They ran to the tree house and found a dusty old looking book. They looked
for a page with a picture with a royal king and people carrying him on a bed and
Jack pointed to the picture and said I WISH WE COULD GO THERE!!!! The wind
started to blow and the tree started to spin, they spun faster and faster then
everything was absolutely still. When Jack and Annie looked outside they
saw sand covering the whole area and cats all over the place. They also
saw people, they didn't recognize Jack and Annie. Then Jack said they're
gods and goddesses.
And that's all I'm going to share. I hope you read this book because I
liked it. See ya!
