| The
trail system at the Econ River Wilderness
Area consists of one main loop trail
blazed in red, one short swamp trail
blazed in orange, and two unmarked auxiliary
trails which all combine for a total
of approximately 2.7 miles of trail.
The red trail will take you through flatwoods,
sandhill, and beautiful oak hammocks
and offer a few scenic looks at the Econ
river. Two additional unmarked trails
provide additional areas for exploration.
In an effort to protect the resources
of this relatively small wilderness area,
the trail system is limited to hikes
and local ride in equestrians. |
