All Seminole County GIS data is
maintained in State Plane Coordinate (SPC) Feet, NAD83, and is maintained using
Arc/Info software. Arc/Info Export files (E00) are available on this page
and ArcView Shape Files are available on the Layer Bibliography page. Export
format files include all the data features discussed in the Layer
Bibliography while shape files provide only a single feature type. Both
types of downloadable files are compressed to allow more rapid transfer of data
and may require PKZIP

To utilize the files offered through this page or the Layer Bibliography
page, you must have either Arc/Info, ArcCad, ArcView, or ArcExplorer
software, or another GIS package capable of reading Arc/Info export format or
Shape File format files.
As a courtesy, if you are using a Windows 95 or newer operating system,
Seminole County GIS and ESRI makes available an
Import Utility that allows users to process Arc/Info E00 (export
format) files for use in ArcExplorer. Downloading and installing
the import utility, to convert the E00 files to a usable
format.
