RSS FEEDS
WHAT IS IT?
RSS is an easy way for you to keep updated automatically
on websites you like. Instead of you having to go to websites to
see if they've written a new article or feature, you can use RSS
(which stands for Really Simple Syndication) to get them to tell
you every time they have something new.
HOW DO I READ THESE FEEDS?
If you’re unfamiliar with RSS feeds, they are easy to use.
First, download a newsreader / RSS Reader / News Aggregator application.
Then, click on a feed. Next, copy and paste the URL (http://....) of
the feed into the application as specified by that program.
Other places that you can use RSS Feeds include the Firefox
Web Browser , in the customizable My
Yahoo feature, and numerous News Aggregator applications. The
uses of the feeds are increasing every day.
If you have more questions about RSS feeds, there are lots
of resources on the internet to help you.
