Prescribed Fire Planned for Geneva Wilderness Area on Monday, December 21.

Seminole County Natural Lands is planning a prescribed fire for Monday, December 21 at Geneva Wilderness Area, 3485 N. CR 426, Geneva, FL. Approximately 20 acres will be prescribed burned for hazard reduction and ecological purposes. The planned burn should run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the wilderness area will be closed during this time. Smokey conditions may be present at times. Geneva Wilderness Area will be reopened on Tuesday morning for regular access. If you have any questions, please contact 321-363-7977.
