Habitat Restoration Projects Scheduled for Seminole County Wilderness Areas

Seminole County, Fla., September 17, 2009-The Seminole County Natural Lands Program will be conducting habitat restoration projects on the Geneva, Lake Proctor, Black Hammock and Chuluota Wilderness Areas during September and October. These projects are necessary to provide safe conditions for prescribed fire, which in turn, will improve habitat for wildlife and increase public safety by diminishing any effect from wildfires.
